Our valued client Tap & Barrel approached Prodigy, with a Construction Management opportunity in the lower mainland. Prodigy was the successful proponent and was awarded the interior construction of Tap & Barrels new 10,000 sq.ft. restaurant at the Surrey Professional Centre.

The scope of  work involved the new interior construction of a landlord space within a large mercantile centre, located in Surrey, BC. The dining space was located on the second floor and required a custom concrete and timber staircase be constructed by our forces. There was also a 50-table patio scope that required complete construction over a balcony section of the professional centre.

The restaurant spaces and kitchen equipment were coordinated by Prodigy to deliver to the restaurant for installation and commissioning. Our Project Manger on this build is well-versed in hospitality kitchen systems and fire suppression systems, which made the municipal certifications simple.

This project had several custom visual elements which were procured locally; historic alcohol barrels, local art pieces, and several neon art installations, with baffle wood ceilings installed throughout.

This location also received a 650 sq.ft. custom refrigeration room, where in-house beer beverages could be display and maintained, along with adding to the incredible ambience created.
