Prodigy was hired as Construction Manager for a high – profile interior construction project at Place Ville Marie in downtown Montreal, QC. This was a different approach, in that Prodigy was also responsible for RBC vendor coordination and payment certification; suppliers the bank historically contracted and paid directly. All payments went through our firm and along with the AOR, we certified many of the project payments.

Our role was highly beneficial in proper planning, given the site was in a core location in a notoriously challenging Quebec market. We were also effective during the Pre-Construction stage in saving the client roughly $150,000 through value engineering. We conducted weekly status calls throughout all phases of the project and assigned a local team from our Montreal office.

Construction was fast paced and within a building where a $1 billion dollar renovation was occurring all around us, making the worksite access extremely challenging. Our superintendent was key to the success of delivering the site on time and on budget through his efficiencies and experience in scheduling. His influence was successful in pulling off this accelerated project delivery, taking a sixteen week project and delivering within nine weeks!

At the end, we delivered a superior product and our client, the consultant team and the landlord were extremely pleased with the results!
