Project Overview :

Prodigy was successfully awarded the Construction Management contract for the new addition to the Northmount School for Boys.

A Master Plan for Northmount School was completed in 2019 and addressed the school’s multiple priorities in providing for growth, upgrades, and modernization of the facility. The Master Plan highlighted the need for new and refurbished spaces including classrooms, collaboration education spaces, STEM labs, teacher/administration offices, music room, art room and newer school entrance. The masterplan was then further developed into a concept design, that not only addressed the priorities of the masterplan but also created a new image for the school to its community.

The proposed design consists of a new second-floor addition over the administrative wing of the school. The addition includes classrooms, STEM lab and Art Room. There will also be an extensive renovation to the existing first floor, mostly in the administrative wing (Southeast portion of building). The central agora space will also be renovated with a new stair connecting to the second floor.

All construction will occur during a time when the space is occupied and therefore, our firm will be required to provide a well-vetted logistics plan and delivery methodology to be successful. Our institutional construction project teams, specifically school teams are well-versed in “Live-Environment” implementations and will be sensitive to the campus needs during construction.
