Long time client, Nespresso approached our firm to begin planning a ‘revitalization’ project to their Yorkville property here in Toronto, ON. The location was within a building that our firm knows well, given our Bloor Street Toronto office and the Burberry space which members of our project management staff delivered in 2015 are both located.

We were required to completely demolish the café walls and several other areas within the Yorkville boutique, over an aggressive three- month, after-hours implementation. This in itself was an arduous task given the building is also connected to a residential tower, with zero laydown area in one of Toronto’s most prestigious neighborhoods.

With that said, we employ several retail specific site superintendents, which on high-end retail projects is one of the keys to success. The other is aligning the scope with subcontractors who understand what it means to work in luxury retail.

Our project team, was based out of our Bloor Street office and was able to access the boutique on a daily basis, which meant we had the added benefit of proximity to site.

We were successful in delivering this boutique revitalization on time and on budget for a devoted international client!
