Our firm was approached by Hublot America based in New York, NY. They were looking for a Construction Manager which could handle all aspects of their boutique construction. We were honoured to be chosen for Hublot’s second location here in Canada.

Prodigy was required to work in a very busy Yorkdale Shopping Centre here in Toronto, Canada and was subject to a mandatory pre-qualification process at the landlord level, similar to many properties in the United States.

We were successful in budgeting and tendering out the project scopes at the various stages of drawing development and were excited to start construction.

The boutique required subcontractors that were familiar with specific mechanical and electrical systems, along with higher end finishes, such as wallpaper, cloths and fabrics. The interior metal paneling systems were also carefully assembled and installed on site. There were also several long-lead items our firm did well to stay on top of throughout the Pre-Construction and Construction stages of this store build.

Prodigy was also responsible for the data and A/V systems and were required to onboard a data systems subcontractor familiar with Hublot’s intricate systems.

Our client was based in New York and appreciated our extensive cross-border communication through the project.
