Prodigy was excited to be awarded the construction management of a renovation project at Bishop Strachan School in Toronto, ON. The project scope involved renovating the Boarding Commons space, which boarding students utilized as an important meeting space. This project aimed to transform the existing area into modernized commons space tailored for leisure, dining, and encouraging connection for the schools’ boarding students.

Our team spearheaded the entire renovation process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail at every stage. From conceptualization to execution, Prodigy managed all aspects of the project, including construction schedules, budgets, and site safety, all amidst the challenges of an active school site.

The revamped space boasts a modernized ambiance with the addition of a new media center and updated finishes, elevating the overall experience for the boarding students. Notably, our commitment to accessibility was paramount, as we prioritized compliance with AODA standards, ensuring inclusivity for all individuals. With this said, our firm and the esteemed Annum Architects were successful in retaining the heritage associated with the +150 year old space.

Our firm was also excited to be working with Annum Architects based in Boston, MA who are the architects for Harvard University, Princeton University, Yale University, and Cornell University.
